The workshop aims to begin building a network of key stakeholders working to deliver education that meets the needs of today’s labor market.
The transnational event brings together representatives from companies, associations, institutions, educational providers, universities and (governmental) organizations involved in shaping the development of skilled professionals in Germany and Latin America.
In the context of German-Latin American relations, the following topics will be discussed in lectures and debates:
- Educational opportunities and access to the labor market
- Labor market needs and educational reality
- Skills mobility
- Digitalization in vocational training
Our workshop - among other side events - kicks off the Latin America Day, annually held by the Lateinamerika Verein e.V. (LAT). The motto of this year's conference is ‘Gemeinsam Kurs setzen - Deutschland und Lateinamerika im Dialog’.
Our workshop provides a platform for professional exchange. It aims to showcase current initiatives in Latin America and Germany and to mark the first step toward building a transnational network for the strategic development of skilled professionals.
